about

I’ve spent the last two years working with the Washington Conservation Corps, doing environmental restoration in the Puget Sound area. It’s hard and fulfilling work, and I thought it was just as deserving of a song as whaling, mining, logging, and other hard labor I’ve spent years singing about. Joining me on this track are Brian and Sonya, both of whom also spent two years with the WCC and have pulled their fair share of Scotch broom.
